He has led or participated in more than 20 major research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers in high-impact international journals such as JAMA, Allergy, Clinical and Experimental Allergy, and Clinical Reviews in Allergy & Immunology. His work has substantially advanced understanding of immune regulation and translational therapies in allergic diseases. Dr. Yu is an active member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and the Chinese Society of Otolaryngology in Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, fostering global and interdisciplinary collaborations. His achievements have been recognized through numerous awards, including the Third Prize of the Shanghai Medical Technology Award, the Third Prize of the Military Medical Achievement Award, and the Tongji University Taihe Medical Education Award.
