Dr. Shaoqing Yu, PhD, is the Director of the Departments of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and Allergy at Tongji Hospital, School of Medicine, Tongji University, Shanghai, China. An accomplished clinician-scientist, Dr. Yu specializes in allergy, immunology, and otorhinolaryngology, with a research focus on the mechanisms and clinical management of allergic rhinitis and upper airway inflammation. He has led or participated in more than 20 major research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers in high-impact international journals such as JAMA, Allergy, Clinical and Experimental Allergy, and Clinical Reviews in Allergy & Immunology.
