Prof. Sergey V. Suchkov, MD, PhD, is a distinguished physician-scientist and international leader in immunology, personalized and precision medicine, and biodesign. Born in Astrakhan, Russia, he graduated with an MD from Astrakhan State Medical University in 1980 and earned his PhD from Sechenov University in 1985, followed by a Doctor’s Degree from the National Institute of Immunology in 2002. His professional experience spans over four decades, including senior research positions at the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, the Moscow Clinical Research Institute (MONIKI), and leadership roles as Director of the Center for Personalized & Precision Medicine at Sechenov University, Vice-Director of the Institute for Biotech & Global Health at RosBioTech National University, and Director of the Center for Biodesign at N.D. Zelinskii Institute for Organic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He has contributed to international collaborations, with advanced training and research engagements at the NEI, NIH, USA, Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia, and invited work at several British universities under the Royal Society for Immunology. Prof. Suchkov’s research interests include clinical immunology, predictive and preventive medicine, precision nutrition, and translational biodesign, underpinned by skills in immunobiotechnology, personalized therapy design, clinical trial management, and biomedical innovation.
