Mrs. Durga Pandey is an accomplished educator, academic leader, and researcher with expertise in STEAM education, curriculum design, and integrated pedagogical approaches. She holds an MPhil in STEAM Education from Kathmandu University, School of Education (2022 batch), where she is pursuing her thesis on teacher professional development for transformative learning, along with a Master’s in STEAM Education (2020–2021) and a Master’s in English Literature from Tribhuvan University (2009–2012). Her academic foundation also includes a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Rural Development, underscoring her interdisciplinary orientation. Professionally, she has held progressive roles ranging from Primary Mathematics Teacher to Academic Director, with responsibilities spanning curriculum alignment, integrated lesson design, teacher mentoring, extracurricular coordination, and leadership in inclusive educational practices. She has designed integrated curricula linking Nepal’s CDC with the Cambridge International Curriculum, conducted professional development programs for teachers, and collaborated with UNESCO and Kathmandu Municipality on transformative projects such as the Mobile Art for Peace initiative. Her research interests focus on STEAM-based teacher professional development, integrated curriculum design, participatory action research, and project-based learning approaches that bridge theory and practice in education. Skilled in event organization, pedagogy implementation, reflective practice, and curriculum alignment, she has presented papers at international faculty development programs and conferences, with recent publications in Scopus-indexed journals including Education 3-13. She has also served as a mentor, coordinator of interschool collaborations, and member of academic committees, reinforcing her leadership in both research and institutional development.
