Prof. Victor Manuel Castillo Delgadillo is a distinguished finance professional and academic leader with extensive expertise in corporate finance, investment strategy, ESG integration, and financial modeling. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting from Tec de Monterrey (2005) and a Master’s in Finance from UAEM (2018), recognized under Mexico’s National Quality Graduate Programs. Prof. Castillo has held key positions across multinational corporations, including Oberkirch (Germany), EY Americas, Hub Holdings, Schloss Marketing, and Sealed Air, managing investment portfolios, financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and risk assessment across global markets such as Germany, China, Canada, and Mexico. Currently, he serves as a full-time professor at Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, where he teaches courses in mergers and acquisitions, derivatives, business valuation, managerial and intermediate accounting, while actively mentoring students in research and ethical finance practices. His research interests focus on sustainable finance, ESG metrics, net-zero investment strategies, and venture capital, resulting in publications in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Sustainable Finance & Investment and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions, and Money, as well as presentations at international conferences like the Cross Country Perspectives in Finance.
