His research interests include enzyme immobilization, protein-ligand interactions, cyclodextrin synthesis, and industrial applications of biocatalysis, with skills in enzyme production, purification, activity modulation, and industrial-scale bioprocessing. Dr. Wang has led major research projects, including as deputy leader of the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China, and published extensively in reputed journals such as International Journal of Biological Macromolecules and Colloids and Surfaces A, with 651 citations across 27 documents and an h-index of 11.
