Basudev Karmakar’s professional journey showcases a blend of academic and research excellence. He began his career as an Institute Fellow (JRF & SRF) at the Nanoscience Laboratory, Department of Physics, NIT Durgapur, from 2015 to 2020, where he worked under the mentorship of Prof. Pathik Kumbhakar π§ͺ. In October 2020, he advanced to the role of Senior Research Fellow in a WB DST project, continuing his work at the same institution until April 2021 π¬. Currently, he holds the prestigious position of Dr. D.S. Kothari Post-Doctoral Fellow (UGC, Govt. of India) at the Department of Polymer Science and Technology, University of Calcutta, under the guidance of Prof. Dipankar Chattopadhyay π«. His diverse roles reflect a strong dedication to research and development in the field of physics and materials science.
